About the Coaching
I offer online writing coaching for memoir, life writing, long form fiction, and narrative nonfiction.
With a Masters in Creative and Critical Writing (Distinction), a PhD in Creative and Critical Writing, and membership of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP), I combine academic expertise with practical publishing experience.
I’ve published short stories and essays and have won awards including the prestigious New Writing North Award for Fiction and the All3Media New TV Comedy Script Award.
I have over twelve years experience guiding writers to find their voice and develop their projects.

Free Introductory Consultation – up to 20 minutes
A short online meeting to discuss your writing project, explore the kind of support that would be most helpful, and see if coaching is right for you. There’s no obligation to book further sessions.
Coaching Sessions
One Off Coaching Session – £50
60 minutes
A one-to-one online session focused on the needs identified at your introductory consultation. This may include elements of craft such as structure, voice, and narrative flow, or it may be an opportunity to dig deeper into a writing proposal. The session includes suggested next steps for your project.
Writing Feedback
Short Piece Feedback — £90
Up to 2,500 words
Includes written notes and a 45-minute online discussion.
Extended Feedback — £180
Up to 6,000 words
Includes written feedback and a one-hour discussion session.
